NAKED!

Urban Decay - Naked Palette

Ok, so as Urban Decay have announced there is a new "Naked 2" palette being released I thought I would give my review on the first edition. The Naked palette, when first announced and released, was completely sold out nation, world, everything wide! I got it around last Christmas (hence the dirt of it!) after much deliberation and reviewing. I have to say I LOVE this palette! The colour pay off is amazing, the colours are practical and easy to use and blend. Usually in palettes there is the odd colour you just don't use, not in this! All the shades are shimmery except "Virgin" "Naked" and "Buck". 1,3 and 5 in the picture. if you aren't the shimmery loving type them possibly this palette may not be for you but alternatively "Naked 2" might be as it claims to have more matte shades. All in all I really do love this palette for day to day wear and night wear, as well as using the shade "Naked" for my eyebrows. It really is a great versatile palette. Wow can I be any more positive!

Still pondering whether or not i need will get the new palette as i still have lots left in this one.
hmm suggestions welcome =)

P.S - awaiting Christmas day for the arrival of my new Canon camera from Santa. Therefore meaning an overload of OOTD's FOTD's and lots of daily pictures to accompany my updates. Ohh the excitement!

The beginning and a favourite

First post of what is to be an over indulgent diary of latest purchases, styles and pictures!

Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation
Shade - 3W1 Tawny 37

I think it is only right to dedicate my very first post to a product I discovered relatively recently. I am talking about (unnecessary drum roll) Estee Lauder DoubleWear foundation. Foundations are definitely a weakness of mine, the search for the perfect holy grail one has left me with numerous bottles of the stuff.
However, Estee lauder has came very close to being nearly perfect.
Pros: AMAZING coverage - covers all flaws but when applied correctly (not spread on with a shovel!) it can still look, dare I say natural! It has a good colour range for all skin types and colours and hasn't broke me out, although many people complain it does. Coming from someone with very sensitive skin, as long as it is properly removed it shouldn't cause problems. It is also perfect for oily skin types as it stays matte and lasts ALL day whilst still looking flawless.
Cons: Smell isn't great, it has quite a paint smell so it feels as though you really are painting your face. It is also quite difficult to get it completely off the skin - wipe, cleanser and toner is necessary for me! The coverage is amazing but for day to day wear it is still slightly too much. It also has Spf 15 in it which is good but causes flash back in pictures which isn't ideal.
All in all it is a great find and product which should definitely be tried!

Let me know if you have tried it or if you have any other suggestions :)

look forward to an array of many posts to come
